This line of Halloween giftware with One Hundred 80 Degrees includes plates, mugs and figurines derived from a Halloween drawing that we granted license for them to use. I worked closely with representatives from their team to translate the two dimensional drawings into several 3D products that would work well in their distribution channels. The photo is from the gift show in Atlanta, but this collection is available in stores and online now.

Answering a need for new spring and summer products, we created this beach collection for the e-commerce store. I pitched the drawings to be used, and formatted them for the towels and flip flops available in Printful’s product inventory. Print-on-demand became our testing ground for products because we didn’t have to produce a large quantity or have room in the warehouse. After the samples arrived, I took the photos and then marketed them in emails and on social media.

In partnership with Elle Crée, we found drawings that would have broad appeal for our fans and theirs, then transformed them so that they could be painted by anyone. We promoted these on social media by having a live “paint-by-number” party on Instagram that anyone could tune into and paint along with us.

The company that had been licensing art from us to produce Washi tape decided to close up shop. Since they sold well for us, we decided to pursue manufacturing them on our own. We found a company called Washi Gang to produce them for us. I designed and developed many of these by extracting pieces from original drawings and putting them together in new ways.

This line of greeting cards with Designer Greetings makes use of Mary’s “Engeldark” art where she gets a little snarky, and the art is typically drawn in black and white. The decision to add color was motivated by the desire to ensure they stood out in a retail environment.

We thought it would be fun to add enamel pins to the inventory. The art had to be simplified and converted to vector for manufacturing. After they were finished and shipped in, I photographed them and wrote the product descriptions for the e-commerce website on the Shopify platform.
