As the art director at Home Companion Magazine, I collaborated with photographers and stylists on photo shoots locally and on location. The publication featured homes, but also had columns for recipes, crafts and artist’s studios. We spent a lot of time on the covers and completely redesigned the look twice in an effort to stand out on the rack.
Promoted as a sourcebook for subscribers, the Guide to Creative Living publication was developed as an incentive for advertisers and involved coordinating assets and ads from diverse sources and bringing them together in a cohesive way.
